If you can answer those questions with yes, then the Yunnan Institute of Development welcomes you! Join our unique short-term volunteer camp in the Yunnan province in China and make a difference side by side with people from all around the world!
After an introduction to the development work and a short training, you can work for a few days in the villages of Yuan Yang (Shalatuo)! Teach children, organize sports activities with the communities, arrange cultural events and enrich your life by getting close to the minority group of Hanis!
Our requirements:
● Older than 18
● Able to communicate in English
● Open minded and motivated to change the world
The training costs of 1.300 RMB are covering:
- accommodation in Yuxi and Yuan Yang
- insurance
- transportation Yuxi – Shalatuo/Yuan Yang and retour
- registration fee of residence permit in Yuxi
- training fee and materials (including welcome and farewell party, cultural evening and teaching material for the project area)
not included: food
The closing date for applications is the 20th of January 2010
